Each mold is handmade by me, one at a time, in my working studio.

These molds are made to order — I do not keep inventory on hand. Orders are added to the current studio production queue and completed in the order they are received.

Current production queue: approximately 2-3 weeks, plus shipping.

You’ll receive an email as soon as your mold is finished, boxed and ready to ship.

Included with your order will be suggested glass fill weight and firing schedule.

Standup Dog Paw Casting Mold for Fused Glass

I created the free-standing dog paw because I was looking for something that didn’t exist yet.

I wanted a piece that felt more like a blown glass art form than a flat casting—something with presence. Something that could stand on its own.

After losing my two pups, I wanted to make a memorial piece that felt meaningful and substantial.  A small sculpture that could sit quietly on a shelf or desk and hold space.

I was craving depth—real depth. Layers and details that wouldn’t get washed out in the kiln. A piece that let light move through it while still feeling grounded.

So I started experimenting. And that’s how this mold was born.

It’s designed to create a paw that stands upright, with deep detail, beautiful flow, and a calm, sculptural feel. The kind of piece you make slowly. The kind you keep.

I’m really happy to be able to share it with you.

Final dimensions 3 x 2.75 with depth of your choosing up to 1”.
